“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” -Psalm 139:13-14

Birth is an intimate, private, and profoundly sacred experience—for the mother, for the father, and for the family as a whole. Inviting someone into that space is a weighty choice, one I believe should be made prayerfully, without fear, and with a deep, unmistakable full body yes.”

When I attend a birth, my role is simple: I tend the hearth so the mother can fully surrender to the work of birth.

I am not a medical professional. I will not assess you, chart your progress, schedule heart-tone checks, perform cervical exams, or place your labor on an arbitrary timeline. You are free to assess yourself if you wish—but my purpose is not to manage your birth, it is to protect its unfolding.

Instead, I am present in quieter, older ways—watching, listening, praying, singing, offering intentional touch, and keeping the space warm, peaceful, and aligned with the rhythm of an undisturbed, physiological birth.

You might picture the old-time granny wise woman—quietly knitting in the corner (yes, I do knit), speaking words of truth and encouragement, tidying up after the work is done, and gently tending to what is needed without disrupting the flow. My hands, my voice, and my presence are there to honor God through birth.

Homebirth Education

Do you find yourself questioning the rules and regulations of the industrial prenatal care and birth system? Do you find that the mainstream birth prep classes lack the honoring of the motherbaby diad and teach that the doctors and nurses are the authority in birth? Do you find that even homebirth medwife (licensed or previously licensed medical provider that are trained within the allopathic model) and doula homebirth childbirth education courses guide the woman to see birth and pregnancy disruption such as cervical checks, doppler use, control of baby’s position in the womb, and gestational age limits impacting available care as normal, in fact, urge that it is all needed for a safe birth?

Childbirth Education can be a true unpacking of it all:

  • Leaning what choosing a wild pregnancy can look like.

  • Teaching the hormonal bluprint of birth.

  • The physiology of birth.

  • Learning what the emergencies vs complications vs variations of normal are.

  • Answering the what-ifs of birth without a medical professional attending your homebirth.

  • What birth partners need to know to support their birthing women.

  • Preparing for a nuturing postpartum.

I teach in person & virtual classes in a 1:2 container, group classes for couples. and single “intro to birth choices” classes at local meeting areas

Wild Pregnancy Coaching

Wild Pregnancy, a term coined and defined by Free Birth Society, means intentionally choosing to not engaged in or be managed by the industrial prenatal care system, meaning no doctor appointments, doppler usage, ultrasounds, testing, medical assessment or management of any kind. So what does a pregnancy look like without a medical to-do list? It looks like God-guided self authority while walking in the beautiful, peaceful mystery that is normal pregnancy. But maybe you desire a wise woman, a sister, a birth proffessional, that will sit with you in the mystery and all the thoughts, questions, and fears that may come with it. One who will hand your authority back to you, even though you may try to outsource it.

  • Once a month in-person meetings

  • 24/7 Available by text

  • Insight into wild pregnancy from someone who has walked it.

Village Prenatals

For the mothers-to-be to gather and be witnessed throughout their pregnancies in a faith-filled manner. Hosted in my home. A time to share our dreams and fears surounded by other women on their own pregnancy jouneys. Simple check-ins or deep soul exposing rooted in Biblical guidence. In a time where there aren’t wells to walk to as a community of women, this gathering allows for the wittnessing that is missing. My goal is to host this event once a month for faith-filled pregnant women in my area.

Mother Blessings

Have you ever wanted more from a babyshower? A motherblessing is just this. It’s a time to circle with your women-to honor God and honor the mother in her beautifully designed pregnant body- to prepare emotionally and spiritually for motherhood and birth, whether it’s your 1st, 3rd, or 11th baby. Instead of baby shower games, why not ask your women to share their most beautiful momories of early motherhood or design a birth banner that you will put in your birthing space. With food, flowers, worship, and words of wisdom and encouragement, a motherblessing fills the cup of mother-to-be as she embarkes on this journey.
